Who Am I?
I enjoy drinking coffee, eating pizza, and even an occasional beer every now or then. I write code and improve my design and skills every day.
Umbraco, CMS, combined with Bootstrap forms a strong foundation for modern websites that are up to date and tops the search engines.
Before launching a new website (or maintaining an older one), it’s a good idea to make sure the page performs well against several performance affecting fact.
I have 15+ years of experience with web development, of which 10 of them have been dedicated to Umbraco (since version 4.5.2 to be exact). Specifically I have a special experience with developing in ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS3/Sass/Less and a good knowledge of SQL as well.
My favorite developer tools are Visual Studio (and VS Team Foundation/GIT), SQL Management Studio and Umbraco. Over the years, I have worked with Scrum, frontend/backend web development, Web API/RESTful services, responsive web and a lot more…
I am Fullstack Web Developer with a capital D, coffee addict lover, and I love starting new projects.
Socially, I am more comfortable in unpretentious settings and where freedom comes with responsibility.
Umbraco is a Danish developed Open Source CMS system based on the asp.net platform. Umbraco is incredibly flexible to integrate as a developer and super easy to maintain and expand as a user or webmaster.
Bootstrap is a responsive Mobile-First HTML, CSS, and JS framework originally designed and developed by the team behind Twitter. As a developer, you get access to unimaginable amounts of HTML and CSS components and cool custom JavaScripts.
I have put a lot of effort in making my site perform as well as possible prior to Core Web Vitals. As google has mentioned previously, Core Web Vitals report will have page ranking effect.
This being said, it is always a good idea to make sure a website performs to its maximum. Since Googles search Algorithm is a well-kept secret (with good reason), when they say ‘Jump’ you ask ‘how high?’
Nothing is more annoying than a slow and bad performing website, right? :)
